From leadership development and emotional intelligence to stress reduction and interpersonal communication, he has provided winning solutions for such well-known clients as electronic retail giant QVC and the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Michael’s passion is making a meaningful difference in people’s lives by helping to ignite their creative spirit and work together more productively and joyfully to achieve extraordinary things. His innovative approach to training and development includes unconventional programs and exercises that encourage people to embrace change and discover new perspectives about themselves and their work.
Michael’s philosophy of organizational learning and development focuses squarely on the collective wisdom of the teams he works with. Tapping into his clients' innate creativity and knowledge, he designs and delivers custom learning strategies and experiences that help replace old paradigms with fresh new approaches and ideas. He has worked successfully with a host of different client groups in a variety of settings and contexts, including customer service representatives, nurses, IT professionals, physicians, managers, directors, and vice presidents. Michael holds certifications in LIST and Defuse Customer Service Excellence Methods from Sigma Service Solutions, 360-Degree Assessment Tools from the Center for Creative Leadership, and Crucial Conversations (based on the New York Times best-seller). Additionally, he has taught at Immaculata University, LaSalle University and Temple University, and is a popular facilitator for the Anti-Defamation League of Philadelphia.
Michael holds a Masters degree in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple University and is currently a doctoral candidate in Adult Learning and Leadership at Columbia University. He is also a professional musician whose years of experience entertaining audiences come through in his affable demeanor and engaging personality.
